The total population of Indonesia as of 2020 is 273.5 million.
This fact makes Indonesia the fourth country with the largest population in the world after the United States. The population explosion in Indonesia, of course, has more negative impacts, one of which is high poverty. To regulate the high rate of population growth, the Indonesian government issued a population policy.

Population policy is a policy that has the aim of participating in giving birth to economic and social welfare for citizens in a country through population planning and control efforts. One form of population policy in Indonesia is the family planning program (KB).
