Silk Scarf – Olive Bandhani From Rajasthan

These wonderful Bandhani scarves come from Rajasthan. This one has two shades of olive with a mulberry dot. The art of Bandhani is highly skilled. The technique involves dyeing a fabric which is tied tightly with a thread at several points and involves several processes. A variety of patterns like Leheriya, Mothra, Ekdali and Shikari are produced depending on the manner in which the cloth is tied.
