Sunburst Bedside Cabinet Made From Reclaimed Teak

This cabinet is not an antique, however, it is made from reclaimed carved teak panels & reclaimed teak which have been salvaged from old buildings in Rajasthan and Gujarat. It is decorative, extremely durable, and environmentally friendly.

The sunburst panel is typical of the Portuguese style and has been expertly carved. The core Portuguese occupation did not expand beyond Southern India, however, this cabinet comes from Gujarat further north showing how trade and styles transcended regional borders.
