Vintage Suzani Embroidery Throw From Uzbekistan

This suzanis were traditionally made by Central Asian brides as part of their dowry and were presented to the groom on the wedding day. Beautifully hand stitched, the word ‘suzani’ directly translates to ‘needle’ and involves highly skilled wonderful silk embroidery. Suzanis make for great bed covers, bedspreads & throws.
