Storage That Grows Upward, Not Outward
Stand the Ellington 5 Drawer Tallboy in a bedroom corner and it solves a spatial problem standard chests ignore by offering plenty of drawer capacity while taking up minimal floor space. The tall, slender silhouette fits neatly into Scandi schemes where keeping floor areas clear is essential.
Transitional interiors work equally well, since the flat fronts and straight lines sit comfortably against both period and modern detailing. For anyone furnishing a box room or tight alcove, this tallboy earns its place by delivering full-sized storage on a small footprint.
Solid Construction Under an Easy-Care Finish
Engineered board and manufactured wood build the narrow frame, wrapped in a scratch resistant vinyl surface that copes with the daily traffic of a busy bedroom without showing it. The finish comes as a warm oak-effect grain, a fluted-effect honey slat front or a smooth white, depending on colourway.
Open any of the 5 graduated drawers and a woven, oatmeal-toned faux linen lining runs beneath, keeping folded jumpers from catching as the narrow drawers slide.
Fits the Room Other Chests Can't
The subtle vertical detailing on the slatted-effect finish catches ambient light across the room, giving this tall frame an attractive visual texture without needing physical panelling. The grey oak offers a cooler palette that blends seamlessly into pale walls, while the pure white version reduces visual weight in small spaces.
At 108cm tall and just 37cm wide, this is the piece to reach for beside a wardrobe, in an alcove, or anywhere a standard chest simply will not go. Pair it with the matching wardrobes collection or browse our full chest of drawers collection for a piece with more width.
