Versatile Storage Solution
The Shorwell Black & Marble Storage Cabinet offers the perfect blend of style and functionality for the modern home. Its thoughtfully proportioned design makes it suitable for various rooms, from bedrooms to living spaces.
The upper cabinet section features a stunning white Calacatta marble shelf with natural grey veining, adding a touch of luxury to the interior while providing a durable surface for items you wish to display when the cabinet is open or keep protected behind the beautifully crafted slatted door.
Practical Multi-Function Design
This versatile cabinet combines two distinct storage options to keep your space tidy and functional. The slatted doors conceal a central cupboard featuring an elegant marble shelf, keeping your everyday items neatly hidden yet easy to reach.
Below, two deep drawers with smoothly curved fronts pull out seamlessly on metal runners to offer organised space for smaller essentials.
Quality Construction Details
Crafted with attention to detail, this cabinet combines black-stained oak with quality manufactured wood components. The gentle curved edges of the unit soften the overall silhouette, creating a more inviting presence in your space, and the cylindrical legs add a touch of Scandi-inspired elegance while providing stable support.
Versatile Style Compatibility
The bold black finish offers striking visual contrast in neutral, modern minimalist, contemporary glam or Scandinavian-inspired interiors. It pairs effortlessly with light walls, leather chairs, or warm wooden floorboards.
Use it in the bedroom as a multi-purpose storage unit, in the dining room for table linens and serving pieces, or in the living room to store media items and games. Its thoughtful design ensures it will enhance your home while providing practical storage for years to come.
What is Calacatta Marble?
Calacatta marble offers a beautiful, distinctive look. It’s known for its striking, thick grey veins which contrast the snow-white colour of the stone. This stunning material is only found in one quarry in the world, which is located in Carrara, Northern Italy. No two slabs are the same, so every piece from the range has its own character and story to tell – perfect for creating a stunning talking point in your home!
Marble Care
Marble brings a stunning and distinctive character to any piece and, with the right care, is a hard-wearing option that can last many years. The key to marble care is to clean spills as quickly as possible – acidic substances like juice or wine can affect the look of the stone so wipe them up immediately. Using a mat or coaster can reduce the risk of liquids coming into contact with the marble in the first place. Marble is easy to wipe clean – just dust with a dry microfibre cloth. Use a mild soap and warm water if need be, but avoid harsh chemicals such as bleach at all costs.
